Blue Wedding Decorations

Your budget is very important when planning any type of formal or informal wedding event. Make sure you have all the items required before starting the whole décor process.

The color blue seems to be one of the most popular shades used for wedding adornments. This color is a suitable choice for any season. Blue shades can be incorporated into a spring wedding; crisp blue hues are fun to use for summer while icy shades are ideal for a winter wedding. This color can be easily paired with white if you want the traditional look, or pair it against black and dark brown for a contemporary note.

Start by adorning the aisle runner in a blue tone. Choose a light blue shade for a summer themed-wedding and choose tulle to make ribbons for the pews. The contrasting mixture between colors can really have a strong visual impact. If the ceremony is held outdoor, consider using blue stands to adorn the arch or lighting if you are having an evening wedding ceremony. Blue paper lanterns can give the venue a whimsical allure along with some string of lights.

The centerpieces for your reception should also be the color scheme of your wedding. You will be needing blue linens and china with a few blue accents. As for the table ornaments, use flowers. For more hints of blue in your centerpieces, use blue colored containers. For a winter theme, choose to add blue and silver globes for a contrasting table décor. A silvery tray can be used to displays the edibles and some blue bows can be tied at the base of the tray.
The chairs can be adorned with bows made out of two different shades of blue and a glittering blue brooch to tie the fabric. You can also use a blue butterfly pin, or a bunch of silk flowers to give the chairs a more natural touch.
Let’s make your wedding a memorable one…
cheers
